Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: Generally 18–22 years for male constables and 18–25 years for females, with 3 to 5 years of relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC).

Selection Process

The UPPRPB follows a rigorous 5-stage selection process:

  1. Written Examination: Objective type test covering General Knowledge, Hindi, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning.
  2. Physical Standard Test (PST): Height and chest measurements (40kg min weight for females).
  3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Running (4.8 km in 25 mins for males; 2.4 km in 14 mins for females).
  4. Document Verification: Scrutiny of academic and identity proofs.
  5. Medical Examination: Final fitness check.
