India Gets Hosting Rights – एक Historic Moment

26 November 2025 को Glasgow में हुई Commonwealth Sport General Assembly में India के Ahmedabad को officially 2030 Centenary Commonwealth Games की hosting rights मिल गई हैं। यह India के लिए एक बेहद गौरवपूर्ण क्षण है क्योंकि यह दूसरी बार होगा जब देश इस mega sporting event को host कर रहा है।

74 Commonwealth member nations और territories के delegates ने India की bid को ratify किया। India को Nigeria के Abuja city से competition मिल रहा था, लेकिन अंत में India की compelling vision और strong infrastructure ने जीत दर्ज की।

PM Modi का Reaction और National Celebration

Prime Minister Narendra Modi ने social media पर celebrate करते हुए कहा कि यह India की sporting aspirations का testimony है। New Delhi के Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium में एक special celebration event भी organize किया गया जहां Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, IOA representatives, Olympians और Commonwealth medallists मौजूद थे।

Prime Venues

Sardar Patel Sports Complex Motera, जहां Narendra Modi Stadium है, 2030 Commonwealth Games का primary venue होगा। यह stadium दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा cricket stadium है जिसकी capacity 1 lakh से ज्यादा है।

Veer Savarkar Sports Complex और Aquatic Centre Naranpura में पहले से ही international Commonwealth standards match करते हैं, जिसकी cost ₹825 crore से ज्यादा है।

Massive Development Projects

Gujarat government ने Motera और neighboring Sughad, Bhat और Koteshwar में 650 acres land acquisition शुरू कर दी है। इस land को तीन हिस्सों में divide किया जाएगा:
